As the movie name says, It is a revenge story. But who is taking revenge from whom is a mystery. The movie starts with Amitabh Bachchan's character Badal Gupta's scene. He reaches to Naina Sethi's house bit early. Naina Sethi is a young and successful businesswoman. Businessperson of The Year award winner.
The movie revolves around a murder case and a missing person case. The murder of Arjun Joseph who has an extramarital affair with Naina Sethi. The Missing case of Sunny Singh Toor. Initially, Naina Sethi gets charged for the murder of Arjun Joseph. Amitabh Bachchan as Badal Gupta is an Undefeated lawyer who takes this case. What is the connection between these two cases? Is Naina Sethi a Victim or Murderer? This is the main plot of the movie.
The movie plot is interesting enough to keep you stick to the seats till the end. In the interval, you rather start thinking who is a real murderer than going to the loo. I personally did not like the end. because at one time I guessed it 80 per cent correctly. It could be better. A viewer just needs to listen to every word what Badal Gupta says.
Sujoy Ghosh as Director done a very good job. Amitabh Bachchan is so so so much brilliant. If I told you why I said so three times for Amitabh's acting , This will be a spoiler. Just watch a movie. Tapasee gave her 100 % per cent. Amrita Singh is as Good as always. Tony Luke who portrays Arjun Joseph catches the eyes from his acting skills.
